A new Valorant heroine has been introduced

Riot Games has added an agent with the nickname Clove to the character list of its multiplayer shooter Valorant. The fragile-looking girl uses tricks on the battlefield to mislead the enemy and bypass ambushes. In particular, she scouts locations from a height and pretends to be dead in order to instantly return to the match, if conditions allow. The developers also shared with the public some details of the heroine's biography. We tell you about the important changes in the game.

The militant young lady hails from Scotland, Edinburgh to be exact. Hence her fondness for storytelling and her connection to folkloric characters like fairies. She's also given an accent, noticeable during her lines. Her character combines playfulness, bravery and a talent for tactical tricks. The gameplay is based on the latter. Clove resorts to unconventional tricks to help herself and her team out in times of need. If you press the X button, the "Die Early" trick will become active - with the help of the essence of immortality the heroine will instantly return to the match, but in return she will have to eliminate someone or act as an assistant.

The next skill is "Interference", which serves to scout and create a cloud of smoke. "Interference" allows at the expense of the essence of immortality to inflict permanent damage to enemies, but they must get within range of the explosion. "Boost" strengthens Clove's strength after eliminating enemies - you can pump up speed and health. But do not take the new agent as a death machine. According to the developers, it is more intended to support the team than for independent actions or single trials.
