"Onslaught" returns to World of Tanks

Celebrating the 12th anniversary of the multiplayer action game about armored vehicle battles World of Tanks, Wargaming employees announced the beginning of the season "Scarlet Gryphon" in the updated mode "Onslaught". It will last from April 19 to May 28 - during this period, gamers are waiting for battles with modifiers, weekly tasks with rewards, as well as a number of changes on the maps. As the season starts very soon, it's time to tell you more about it.

The basic rules of the mode remain the same: two teams of seven machines on level 10 converge in battle, for which role-playing skills are allowed during the match. Players must not only shoot, but also maneuver to capture special points on the map. However, to the old principles the developers added something new. Firstly, the reloading speed of skills increased, and some of them are now available at the beginning of the battle. Secondly, there are modifiers to improve the characteristics of vehicles. As explained in Wargaming, this decision will allow to add to the battlefield those tanks that, for one reason or another, are considered weak among users.

In the season of "Scarlet Gryphon" there are weekly tasks with rewards, including camouflages, badges and different types of virtual currency. The designers added two new locations to the set of locations available in "Onslaught" - "Doldrums" and "Aerodrome". The changes also touched the little things: for example, the limit on the number of labels for the mini-map has been removed. Recall that we are talking about the global version of the game.
