A release date for Duckside has been announced
Remember, we already told you about the "battle royale" from the authors of Hello Neighbor? In this game, instead of human heroes, you need to control ducks that can not only fly, but also shoot Kalashnikovs. Online action game Duckside, at first taken as a joke for April 1, got the date of release in early access - it is September 25. And right now everyone can join the beta-testing - to participate in it you need to go to the page in Steam and select Playtest.
What to expect from Duckside on release?
After three user tests, the feathered action game is ready to set sail on an independent voyage. On release, the game will have several gameplay improvements that beta owners haven't seen yet. First, there will be biomes, including arctic and desert, as well as points of interest and monuments. Secondly, the developers have finalized all animations - and taught the ducks to really hold objects in their wings, rather than waving them with the help of telekinesis. They will also replenish the tools: you will be offered not only standard axes with hammers, but also chainsaws. In general, the tinyBuild staff pay unusually much attention to resource extraction and crafting, as for such a conservative genre.
And that's not all! The authors of "Battle Royale" simply don't talk about most of the changes, although they do hint at some of them. In particular, according to the results of the last beta test, some processes related to crafting have been automated, and there is also a recipe for a shotgun trap - any uninvited guest who decided to break into your shelter will run into a charge. In the arsenal of useful gadgets will add night vision goggles, which will come in very handy, given the change of time of day on the locations.
