There's sin in space: a major addition to No Man's Sky

Hello Games studio's ambitious project continues to become what it was originally intended to be. Recall that at its release, No Man's Sky didn't even have multiplayer. And now there is not only a network mode, but also the construction of bases on the planets, VR support and more. More recently, with the patch 3.85, the game added a major update Outlaws - with pirates, starships of the new type, the battle in open space and above the surface of the worlds. Outlaws is not limited to a couple or three fresh missions. A new type of ship - with a solar sail - has appeared in the add-on. The concept of such a ship is based on the fact that each luminary emits a stream of particles, often referred to as "solar wind". A special device captures these particles and uses their energy to accelerate the starship. The second highlight is the pirates, who now have their own stations as well as fighter jets to attack wanderers in the space and atmosphere of the numerous planets of the game universe. Spectacular explosions are included.

The Hello Games staff has come up with a lot of smaller innovations. For example, space frigates now randomly sail across the skies of alien worlds, giving the impression of a bustling galaxy. The capacity of cargo ships has also been increased, so that voyages to deliver goods bring in more profits. Successful merchants can hire squadrons of roving warriors - and those will cover in case of danger. And those who used to fight alone are free to use autopilot. Of course, this is not all the innovations of the add-on. It also includes items, unique appearance types and other decorations.
