Employees of Hello Games company made a lot of efforts to make their game about exploring the boundless space, No Man’s Sky, cozy. Gamers were allowed to travel together, build bases, buy everything you need in stores on different planets, call for help in emergencies, communicate with friendly NPCs. However, the Adrift expedition is designed to remind you how hostile the virtual universe used to be - it's just you, your equipment and your ship. There's darkness and monsters all around, and no support.

A foray into an abandoned universe is full of dangers, as all life forms are hostile and there is nowhere to get emergency help. All around you can see the ruins of vanished civilizations and graves of lost explorers. In short, a mysterious space. But there are artifacts that allow you to open the veil of mystery. And the new tractor ship "Iron Vulture" will help to survive where other starships can't cope. An important feature of Adrift is that radio communication is broken here: theoretically you won't be alone among the stars, but in practice you will hardly be able to contact other gamers, considering the huge scale of the generated galaxy.

The journey begins on the desert planet Yapezuk, home to sandworms. In the sky above this dead world you can see a giant Anomaly, as well as the Ship of the Damned. The time limit for exploring all the objects is seven weeks. As a reward for your attentiveness you can get themed posters, stealth paint for your starship, transport wrecks, a companion in the form of a small monster and, of course, the main prize - the Iron Vulture.
