In the distant year of 1725, nine people died in a very short time in the town of Kisilovo, on the outskirts of the Habsburg Empire. They all contracted a strange disease, the origin of which is not known. The authorities of Vienna, wishing to avoid a new epidemic and to prevent the spread of the disease, send a team of researchers to the city

At the very beginning of the investigation, the inquirers become aware of the existence of a strange creature, after contact with which people fall ill and die. There is no information about the nature of the creature and how to deal with it at all. It was only possible to establish that the first person to die from an unknown disease was farmer Petar Blagojevich. The autopsy of the grave may bring some clarity, but it is unlikely that any of the researchers are prepared for what awaits them next
