Game description

Returning one day to the headquarters of a detective agency, you unwittingly witnessed a strange incident near the provincial town of Dire Grove. An unknown man was the victim of an atrocity and left a "trail of crumbs" - a great clue for a detective!

An abandoned car on the side of the road, a hastily written note asking for help, a broken video camera that apparently tried to film something serious. Everything signaled that something bad had happened here. In the snow beside the car, you can make out footprints stretching toward the forest alley... Would anyone go for a walk in the woods during a snowstorm like this? It's out of the question. There is clearly something else here, and that's what you have to figure out.

Solve the puzzles, look for things on the list, and you're sure to be lucky. At the bottom of the screen there's a Finder - things you need, like a hammer or a jack, to help you find your way out of a quandary. Items in the "Findings" are added after each successful search. And not only that! Don't doubt, if you manage to open the glove compartment of your car, you'll find something meaningful for the investigation there. Use the magnifying glass to see a better part of the screen. The arrow will help you determine where to go next. Thanks to "Notes" you will know about all the events and can examine the paper evidence again.

You followed the alley to a roadside inn. Quite an unusual place for a hotel! It does not seem to have regular occupants. You might easily think it was an abandoned building, were it not for the footsteps leading to it, for it was dark everywhere, and there were no parked cars. For what purpose do the owners maintain such a huge structure, looking more like an old manor than a hotel? Inside, you'll find out all the answers!
