Game description

Few people don't know that at first Rome was not at all great, but was a modest settlement on the banks of the Tiber. In the course of time Rome grew up, gained glory and luxurious architectural sights. About the period of its formation can be found out in the game "The Cradle of Rome". You will have to start with the most important - the accumulation of resources that will be useful to the development of the future city. Resources include provisions, gold and building materials.

Accumulate points and resources you can, forming a line of three, and can be more identical icons. Subsequently, you can spend accumulated for the construction of a unique Roman architecture. Ready-made structures will be beneficial. Thanks to them the amount of earned provisions or gold for each turn will automatically increase. They will also help you gain bonuses, which will subsequently increase the resources or time limit, or clear cells of unwanted tokens.

Bonuses can be used for the above purposes, or they can be saved for a more important event - they can save you from a difficult situation. Also, keep in mind that while you are building up the area, the number of its inhabitants grows, and they all contribute to the greatness of the Empire. But they still can't keep developing the city on their own, so don't slow down.

As you play you'll learn not only how to form lines, but also how to proactively calculate which resources you'll need first to complete your next build. You'll love switching from one exciting level to the next, because during the whole process you'll be accompanied by nice graphics and sweet music. You'll have fun and a bit of history, because after the appearance of the next building you'll be able to read the information about its importance to the Empire.
