World of Warships is releasing a kraken

The naval combat simulator World of Warships is joining in the celebration of Halloween. And does it with all the thoroughness inherent in the developers. This time, players are waiting for the battle monster ships, temporarily remade the map, spooky-looking captains and, of course, a whole set of different decorations and rewards.

"Twilight Fighting" at World of Warships

On the occasion of Halloween in the project returns "Twilight Battle" mode. Its rules are simple: on an updated map, familiar from Operation Ray in the Darkness, face each other two teams of 7 participants, and the match lasts until the complete destruction of one of these squadrons. In the course of the battle the location is absorbed by the filth, so that the field for active action is gradually narrowed - you get a kind of analogue of the "Battle Royale". To take part in such a battle, you need to get a ship from the twilight fleet, all ships which are decorated in grotesque style. For example, there's the USS Gul, decorated with dragon bones, a snake head, and the skull of a giant bird.

Along with the ships, sinister-looking captains are unlocked as well. To unlock all the Halloween-related content, you must participate in battles and complete tasks, earning appropriate rewards and experience points. "Twilight Battle" was already established in the game in the fall of 2018, so users with experience are familiar with it. Now, as then, the mode is being introduced for a while: access to it will remain available from October 20 until the early morning hours of November 3, 2022.
