Live gameplay of World of Jade Dynasty was shown to the public
Beta-testing of MMORPG World of Jade Dynasty took place in 2022, but there is little data about it - even the exact release date is unknown, although the release is scheduled for 2023. Recently, a member of the test, known under the nickname archosaur, posted more than 20 minutes of gameplay. At the moment this is the most detailed live demonstration of the game, not with pre-made renders.
What did we see in the video?
The video opens with the hero flying on a sword over mountains, forests, and rivers to beautiful oriental music. Apparently, changing trajectories and somersaults during such flights consumes a special charge, after which you must either land or pause in stunting. In the air you can control it both horizontally and vertically. Also the author of the video goes to several peaceful locations, where you can see other characters, grand buildings and interesting details like the dragon soaring in the clouds. It is also worth noting the size of the map - it is quite spacious and consists of different biomes, so fast movements will come in handy.
The second part of the video shows the change of the character and the landscape on the screen - from the summer location to the winter one. In addition, near the end of the recording you can see a few story splashes and a demonstration of the combat system. It is known that the game should be conditionally free to play. It is being developed on the Unreal Engine and is a sequel MMORPG Jade Dynasty, which has already been published worldwide, including Russia.
