The developers of the "Battle Royale" Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 introduced the Ashika map to the public. It will be added to the game on February 15, when the multiplayer shooter will start its second season. The new terrain is an island in the Pacific, where two factions are fighting each other. Locations are partly designed in the Japanese style, but traditionally for the genre will be as diverse as possible.

Like every other map in the game, this one is divided into zones, each with its own specifics. On the northwestern part of the island there are farms and industries, as well as defensive structures on the coast. The location is crowned by a promontory of construction debris and a communications tower, one of three towers visible from anywhere in the area. In the north, matchmakers will find a beach with water treatment facilities, as well as greenhouses and warehouses for agricultural products. The western sector of the map is represented by the city center with the town hall, points of interest for tourists and the ferry terminal. Almost all of the buildings show signs and inscriptions in Japanese.

The clubhouse, science center, market, indoor aquarium, apartments, town hall, and buildings near the bridges over the canal flowing into the ocean are great places to shoot. Also of note is Zuki Castle, perched on a hill overlooking the city. This medieval fortress is a monument to traditional Japanese architecture. And below, underground, you can find a submarine base. In other words, on the new map there are a lot of places for interesting battles. According to the developers, Ashika is designed for two modes - DMZ and returning by popular demand of users "Rebirth".
