War Thunder celebrates the Lunar New Year

February 1 is coming soon, which means that the Chinese will start celebrating the Spring Festival, or, as it is also called, the Lunar New Year. Since there are plenty of gamers from the Celestial Empire in any MMO-game, many developers are preparing corresponding events. The employees of Gaijin Entertainment company have pulled up and promised a lot of interesting things, including a unique loading screen and a secret Soviet tank. We tell you more about what to expect from this Eastern festival in War Thunder.

As for the mentioned loading screen, you can see it in the picture in this news. But the main update is the "Call of the Dragon" event, which will last until the 19th of next month. For participating in it, players will receive decals with the image of the mythical animal, as well as random bets and orders, a decent amount of silver lions, camouflage, boosters, trophies and a whole day of premium account. And who will close the eight stages of the test, will get an experimental tank "Object 292" - it is a project of modification of the T-80 with a smooth-bore gun caliber of 152 mm. But there is also a ninth stage - its closing will give you the very screensaver from the picture.

To get prizes, you need to collect 45,000 event points for each level by taking part in missions such as third rank battles in Arcade, Realism and Simulation modes. The stages will change every two days until Feb. 19. The coupon for "Object 292" is not allowed to spend on the car, but to sell it on the exchange, if you use the option "Coupon Upgrade", which will be active until the 22nd. Until that date, you have to either realize it or exchange it for war bonds, otherwise it will be lost. And if you don't have this option, nothing prevents you from purchasing it in the virtual store for golden eagles.
