RuneScape update has been released

The developers of one of the oldest MMORPGs in the world - RuneScape - rarely release patches for their game, especially such large ones, because its rules and customs have long been established. Nevertheless, the February update offers a pumping system for those gamers who want to fight exclusively with bosses. You have to pass a series of trials to unlock the "Blessings of War" rewards and thus strengthen the hero, and then these bonuses can be used in PvP and any other trials. Jagex staff also introduced the Grimoire of War. Let's talk about all the changes in more detail.

How does RuneScape change in the second half of February?

The developers are proud to introduce the combat skill achievements - a new type of progression designed for those who are already at sea in the game. To start your way through the chain of trials, you need to open the hero menu with the F1 key, go to the tab with achievements and pay attention to the newly added list. It is by it that you will be able to track your progress. All victories are divided into three categories: Kill Speed (when you defeated a boss at speed), Kill Count (the number of victories over a certain monster) and Mechanical. The last point means the reprisal over the monster, made taking into account the unique mechanics (for example, avoiding the main attack of the boss). As the hero moves towards glory, the number on all three counters will increase.

What does accumulating points along the way give you? At certain stages (10, 137, 659 points, and so on), reinforcements from the "Blessing of War" are unlocked. You can increase the rewards for certain trials, reduce the requirements, get bonus combat, adrenaline or special skill enhancements. Complementing the innovations is a grimoire that allows you to quickly switch between unlocked spells. Of course, all these improvements do not exclude purely cosmetic rewards - you can, for example, earn auras and necklaces for your character.
