The online shooter Concord has been released

The multiplayer action game Concord, which long before the release was dubbed "Overwatch by Sony", became available to PC and console owners. According to the developers from Firewalk studio, they worked on the game for eight years. But despite all the efforts and a solid publisher, the novelty is not yet very popular. Gamers complain about the high cost ($40 for the basic version) and the need to register in PlayStation Network, even if you download the client from Steam.

The action of the game takes place in a fantasy universe where the ship "North Star" flies with freeganners on board. Each crew member has unique skills and characteristics. From time to time they land on different planets to challenge their opponents and face them in a battle between two teams of five participants. Along the way, the plot develops, served up in video sketches that can be viewed aboard a starship. At the moment there are 16 characters and six modes in the shooter, but more will be released in the future - this content is planned as DLC.

The first shooter available to everyone is Theo, who uses a stockpile of bonus grenades. The rest of the actors must be unlocked by participating in matches. But buyers of the Digital Deluxe Edition will get all of them at once, and in addition a collection of looks and a set of "Monarch". From the technical nuances Firewalk employees note penalties for premature exit from the battle and late joining it. It is also known that revival works in firefights, and the goals of the confrontation are different. Crossplay is available for PC and Sony PlayStation consoles.
