Free online shooter FragPunk has been released

Bad Guitar studio employees have come up with one of the most unusual multiplayer action games. The rules of FragPunk game seem to be usual: two teams of five participants fight in the match, you can choose your character from eleven available ones. But there is one unique feature: the fighters use special cards that change the rules of the battle on the fly. There are more than 150 such fragment cards, so the variability of the novelty is huge.

It should be noted at once that it's a rare free release gaining positive reviews on Steam. Usually it's the other way around: if a product is offered for free, it quickly becomes a target for negative or controversial criticism. Play FragPunk on ten maps with a choice of 11 heroes with unique skills - their list will be replenished in the future. The action is dynamic and colorful, in it you can decorate guns, add effects and stand out from your opponents in every possible way. There are two teams of five people on one location, but nothing prevents you from fighting alone, if you like it better. Moreover, any firefight with a tied score in the finals leads to a duel - the strongest members of the team find out in a duel who will win after all.

A kind of trump card of the game is the mechanics with the use of fragment cards. These are cards that contain radical changes to the rules. You can, for example, increase everyone's heads to make it easier to put headshots. Or make firing on your own useful - after receiving a "stimulus" in the form of a bullet, your ally will start to run and shoot faster. There are maps that make characters lay eggs and create elemental shelters like tall grass on the levels. In general, there are a lot of options to change gameplay in the middle of a confrontation.
