The Quidditch game from "Harry Potter" is coming out soon
As we all remember, the authors of Hogwarts Legacy never got to the multiplayer with broomstick flying in the competitive game invented by J.K. Rowling. So another studio, Unbroken, has taken up the task. Very soon, on September 3, it will present Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, where fans of the fairy tale universe will be able to test their strength in single and multiplayer matches. The developers didn't change the original rules much, though catching a snatch here doesn't lead to instant victory.

The Unbroken staff decided to precede the release of the game with a gameplay demo. The career mode will start with amateur matches in the backyard of the Weasley house, and then you will get to the main championship at Hogwarts. On the pitch, you can take one of the traditional roles - become a hunter, a backrower, a goalkeeper, or a catcher. There are also a couple of balls to throw into the round goal - a bludger and a quaffle. There's also a flying snitch, a small metal ball with wings. Only, unlike in the books and movies, catching it will not lead to an automatic victory for one of the teams. Here the competition is based on points: a goal gets you 10, a snitch gets you 30, and you have to score 100 to complete the round.
The game promises familiar to fans of magic schools, including Gryffindor and Slytherin, as well as all the famous characters. Even Harry Potter will be given to manage. You will be able to pass agility tests, stretch in training mode, and then go online to fight with friends in cooperative mode or against them in PvP. But it's worth bearing in mind that in any of the formats you'll be able to take only two live partners with you, while the rest will be controlled by artificial intelligence. Quidditch Champions will be released on September 3, and on all popular platforms - from PC to PlayStation. The Nintendo Switch version will be released later, but before the end of 2024.
