Episode 7 and the new heroine Valorant

Riot Games has presented the seventh episode of the third chapter of the shooter Valorant. The developers called the add-on "Evolution" and released two videos to get acquainted with it. The first one is a cartoon, where we are introduced to the storyline and the adventures of a team of agents in a dark bunker. The second is a trailer showing the Deadlock character's skills. Announced changes will come into effect on June 27, but in the meantime, let's discuss them in more detail.

The "All Over Again" trailer tells the story of a group of fighters accompanying a scientist to an abandoned bunker somewhere in the Scandinavian snows. Underground, the squad searches for some kind of research object, but finds only rusty pipes, darkness, and rats. Also, a giant mutant bear that starts chasing the heroes through all the corridors of the lab. The reel is created with horror elements and introduces us not only to the plot twist of the chapter, but also to the character Deadlock. It's a girl agent from Norway, who will become the key figure of Evolution.

The second video is dedicated to her skills, demonstrating gameplay with concrete examples. The heroine specializes in control: she detects enemies on the map using the sound sensor, and then immobilizes them by activating the electrical grid or by installing force barriers in narrow passages. Another of Deadlock's tricks is to draw an incapacitated enemy to itself. Users will be able to learn about all the tricks and abilities of the shown character after June 27.
