Pax Dei is getting a map change and PvE changes

Employees of Mainframe Industries have shared news about how the open world of their MMO game Pax Dei is being finalized based on user feedback. In brief, the Gallia region is becoming more passable: the mountains are being made lower, groves are being thinned and roads are being improved to make it more convenient to use them. PvE modes will also be improved, including single and paired points of interest for newcomers. We tell you more about all this.

According to the developers, the adjustments will affect not only the landscape, but also biomes and resource distribution. And all of them are inspired by the feedback on the beta test results. At first, the idea of fencing off the valleys in Gaul with mountains seemed interesting, but then it was reconsidered in order not to make gamers feel cramped. The mountains will be lower and the paths will be more comfortable. Passes will also be added so that wanderers won't risk breaking their legs trying to climb another ledge. And to make the scenery more picturesque while traveling, designers are adding details such as the aqueduct in Inis Gaul. Finally, the formerly uncomfortable plateaus will be adapted for construction, if suddenly someone wants to establish a settlement on the peaks.

In the Wildlands there will be a biome called Infested Plains, where you can meet demons and adherents of the cult of Zeb. It is dangerous to enter here, especially for beginners. For them in Pax Dei there will be other activities - like PvE camps, which can be cleared alone or in the company of one partner. These activity points are tied to biomes and grouped into clusters of five to seven battles. A lot of little things like new dungeons in home locations and lost souls (ghosts) that can appear both near homes and in the Wildlands are reported.
