The second part of Blizzard's online action game is often compared to the first, hinting that it was better before. In particular, gamers complain about the bygone battles of teams of six participants, because now the squad limit is set at five. But game director Aaron Keller decided to make an open letter to assure fans that the development team is listening to their opinion - and in the future, the classic battle formats may return. Here are the main points of this letter.

Keller started with an excursion into the past: in the past, in his opinion, it wasn't so good, as heroes could be duplicated, so that six identical characters would end up on the same team every now and then. Over time, this problem was fixed. The same difficulties were created by the size of the squads - the developer believes that the location is easier to navigate if there are ten fighters, not twelve. Also the change of the queue - from the choice of heroes to the choice of roles - influenced the changes. So it turned out that the format of combat "5 on 5" became the main on the release of the second part of the shooter. With him and waiting time is less, and control the situation on the map is easier.

Nevertheless, the author of the appeal agrees that the former rules had their merits, so the aspirations of users he understands. Suffice it to say that in each match there was more chaos, and this reduced the burden of responsibility on each of the participants. Now Blizzard is considering experimenting with the return of battles for twelve players. In doing so, the developers want to optimize the waiting process and performance of the fighter. When exactly the test will be launched, it is not yet known - first we must wait for season 13. And what is clear at the moment is the release of season 12 on August 20, when the heroine Juno will be introduced.
