The developers of the colorful "battle royale" presented an innovation that, according to their own words, will change the game forever. It's about "buddies" - creatures-assistants, which can be summoned to the battlefield with the help of special spheres. In general, the mechanics is somewhat reminiscent of the Pokémon familiar to gamers. Each of these partners is endowed with a special property, which will not only help you in a difficult moment, but will also allow you to impose your own rules on your rivals. Hi, Buddy! add-on will be released on September 12 - here's what we know about it so far.

What to expect from Hi, Buddy! in Farlight 84?

The update consists of three parts. One is related to companions, the second completely changes the arsenal of heroes, and the third improves the maps. The main difference from "Pokémon" is that the ball from which companions appear can contain up to six creatures - to use them according to the situation. One, for example, will create a tornado on the location and force the enemy to retreat, and another will create a safe zone around itself. There's also Snatchpaw, which can steal items from the enemy's inventory, and Squeaky, which instantly teleports you from a dangerous zone to a well-protected one. On September 12, a dozen pocket monsters will appear in the game, divided by rarity and skills.

Responding to users' questions, the developers made some important clarifications about the upcoming changes. In particular, they noted that the same buddy can be released twice or even three times per match, but for this you need reusable spheres. The updated shooting system is called ADS (Aim Down Sights) - with it they promise more accurate and easier aiming. In addition, assault rifles will get two modes of fire - automatic and semi-automatic. Also, all guns will be equipped with redesigned sounds and effects of hits. As for the landscapes, they were complicated for tactical tricks. But on all kinds of terrain will appear iconic structures - it is unlikely to use them for combat, but they are excellent landmarks.
