Fallout 76 is testing an update

Bethesda employees often test upcoming additions on test servers. Now you can find out about the planned changes in the fantastic MMORPG if you run not the main client of the game, but PTS (i.e. Public Test Server), which is available to all owners of Fallout 76 in the Steam store or the publisher's corporate launcher. The new patch includes various events and features, including collecting legendary items, as well as starting your own caravan company.

In the test version, the DLC is called Milepost Zero. Apparently, it is being prepared for Halloween, as in Camp Rapidan you can take part in the returned "Prank Night" mode. The crafting system has an interesting tweak - using legendary particles to change the properties of items of the same quality. This opens up new possibilities for building modifications, as well as the option to exchange mods between players on the map. And recycling an item will return the legendary particles back to you. Whether this mechanic will be in the final version of the MMORPG, will determine the reaction of users.

The next interesting detail is a contest of camps, or rather builds of C.A.M.P. The most successful projects will be able to put a like. Also Milepost Zero continues the work started in Skyline Valley to improve the combat system. This time it came to counting fire and poison damage. In addition, nothing prevents you from trying out a few fresh perks - "Vaccination", for example, will allow you to better resist infection, and "Iron Stomach" will reduce damage until the hero is sick. Finally, fans are waiting for three regional bosses and opening their own company with caravans. The developers remind that progress made on the PTS is not transferable to other servers.
