Tower of Fantasy version 3.6 revealed in a trailer

It would seem that only recently New Year's update 3.5 with "Winter Festival" was released for MMORPG Tower of Fantasy, but employees of Hotta studio have already shown the next version of their project. The video, published on YouTube, demonstrates new locations, enemies, simulacra, and also gives the beginning of the next story chapter. The release of the patch, called Beyond Horizon, should take place on January 30 this year, and will extend its effect until March 11.

Since the update has already been installed on Chinese servers, we know a few things about it. First of all, it is dedicated to a new location inside Territory 9 - Aquaville, where, according to legends, people settled all the surrounding lands. It's not hard to guess that this map is full of bodies of water, and you can also explore ancient ruins and industrial sites in an attempt to uncover the secrets of the past. Secondly, to make exploring the fairy-tale expanses more interesting, gamers will get a couple of characters under their control - Plotti and Yanuo. The latter uses power attacks and restrains enemies with ice. Plotti, on the contrary, prefers fire. Interestingly, two-element heroes are also promised.

On the occasion of the game's anniversary, its fans are waiting for themed events and rewards, including free skins, awarded immediately after entering the lobby. It is known that the developers plan to collaborate with the universe of the anime series "Evangelion", in which Asuka and Rei will be available as playable characters. But the date of the merger of the two worlds is not disclosed yet.
