According to the rules, the participants of each match are divided into two teams - maniacs and ordinary people, who confront the danger among different scenery. Multiplayer here is asymmetric, that is, it assumes unequal starting conditions. If you are on the side of the good guys, you need to act stealthily, sneak, and also use your wits to solve the problems that lead to escape from the villains. The latter, in turn, are free to act more assertively - they pursue and attack their victims with knives, poisons, or even bare hands.

Since the distribution of roles before the fight is randomized, no one knows in advance on which side of the barricades will be. But you can still choose your role in the squad. For example, you can become Leatherface - a kind of mascot of the "Texas Massacre" universe, who wields the chainsaw from the title. Or, speaking for the victims, choose a thug - even though he is not immortal, but he is able to knock down the villain or at least delay him. Such nuances equalize the chances and make the project similar to Dead by Daylight. The game was released on August 18 on PC and consoles, and at the same time was included in the Game Pass subscription, within which it is available for a minimum price.
