The Front was patched as soon as it was released
New multiplayer survival simulator The Front has received a so-called "day one patch" fixing bugs noticed by ordinary users. Version 1.0.4 was mainly rid of problems with network code and servers, but there are enough other changes. In particular, some blueprint-assembled objects and interface elements have been finalized.
More about The Front version 1.0.4
In the game you have to explore a large open world, mine resources, build a base and fight enemies - characters of other gamers or monsters controlled by artificial intelligence. You can equip your fortress in any way you like: put turrets, armor, traps with different sensors and Tower Defense style defense systems to destroy hordes of enemies. Transportation is also available, including flying cars. Also notable is the ability to recruit monsters using special equipment. In general, the gameplay in the project is diverse, but the reviews are mixed because of the lack of quality optimization.
To make the first corrections, the developers and released a patch. It reduces the delay of connection to the server, eliminates multiplayer failures and optimizes the network code. But there are other edits in the update. For example, the power of solar and wind generators has been increased, the damage from heroes falling from heights has been reduced, and at the same time the interface has undergone changes, which now has more hints and less difficult to understand elements. Many mechanisms important for survival, including rainwater collectors, began to work exactly as they were designed.
