Freedom, Equality, Fraternity. Season 3 of The Cycle: Frontier

The developers of the conditional free-to-play multiplayer shooter The Cycle: Frontier announced that from season 3 they will start giving out equipment for free to the characters. This decision was made to support players who quickly fail in battles and would like to try out some items in combat without spending money on them. The update also promises improvements in matchmaking.

In the game, gamers land on the surface of a hostile planet to fight for resources against other users and enemies controlled by the AI. But the rules of the battles are such that when defeated, everyone risks losing all the contents of their inventory. Over time, this leads to the impoverishment of some heroes, who have nothing to take with them on sorties. Developers from Yager have solved the problem radically: starting in season three, everyone will receive free basic equipment from the three factions before they land on Fortuna III. Each set includes a weapon, ammo, shield, helmet, backpack, and additional items like gun modifications.

The offer is attractive, but there are a couple of conditions. First, the gift will only be available a few times a day, and the features need to be reloaded after a character's death. Secondly, taking free equipment with you, you will not be able to use your own, that is, you cannot combine sets. Even in the third season, the public is waiting for a change of matchmaking to achieve greater fairness on the battlefield. The exact release date of the update is still unknown, but expect it soon.
