MMO games presented at Summer Game Fest

The official broadcast of Summer Game Fest, or SGF, has just ended. Many gamers call this exhibition a replacement for E3, which is no longer held for various reasons. In other words, this is a very serious event, where representatives of game studios or publishers show industry novelties and familiar to the public projects for which some content is released. In particular, some announcements concern multiplayer entertainment. Let's talk about this in more detail.

Let's start with the RPG Path of Exile 2. According to a short teaser we can assess the features of graphics and the battle system, but will there be PvP-activities, as in the first part - it's too early to judge. More details the developers have promised to announce on July 28 this year. The authors of the asymmetric multiplayer with horror elements Dead by Daylight, who are going to add a digital copy of actor Nicolas Cage to the Survivor Squad from the 25th of next month, also distinguished themselves. And employees of Gunfire Games shared a short video about the cooperative mode of the action game Remnant 2 - its page is already available on Steam. Judging by the official data, the game will be released on July 25, 2023.

Pearl Abyss continues to promote the "Land of Morning" add-on for its MMORPG Black Desert. At the exhibition were shown already seen locations, as well as several new monsters, including snake-like creature Imugi, ghost Songakshi and tiger lord Sangun. Quite an atmospheric trailer was brought to Summer Game Fest by Nexon representatives - they once again intrigued the public with a free PvP battle game Warhaven, which is designed in medieval style. Another project from the list of expected - Throne and Liberty from the NCSoft studio, known thanks to Lineage 2. In a short video a lot of details are not revealed, but the developers showed a glimpse of the open world of Solizium and heroes fighting with evil.

Several important announcements were made for the famous MMO-action games. For example, a new map called Wondell from June 14 will receive the "Battle Royale" Call of Duty: Warzone, and for Fortnite from June 9 comes the third season of the fourth chapter, where players will be waiting for the jungle shootings and rides on dinosaurs. The real highlight was the presentation of the cooperative shooter Toxic Commando, which was created with the participation of director John Carpenter.
