The War Within add-on, which was announced back in 2023, is ready for release. Developers from Blizzard studio have already published the order of its download to the game servers: June 5 will begin beta testing, in August will open early access to the updated MMORPG, and August 26 will be the official release. In DLC heroes will have adventures on four locations of Kaz Algar, level up, hordes of primitive monsters, raids and rewards. We tell you more about how Azeroth will be transformed at the end of summer.

What will happen in World of Warcraft: The War Within?

The continent of Kaz Algar is divided into four territories: Isle of Dorne, Ringing Depths, Hallowfool, and Azj Kahet. Each of these locations has a unique landscape, as well as a special set of challenges and rewards. Those who go here will be able to level up from 71 to 80, so it will be possible to unlock talents and specialties for characters of familiar classes. And you'll be able to explore the fabulous lands from above - thanks to the flight function, first introduced in Dragonflight. Nevertheless, the lion's share of tasks will have to be performed in the dungeons, where the threat to Azeroth comes from, because it is here that the Harbinger of the Void gathers forces and the monsters from the Nerubian Empire unite again.

It is known that the game will expand the capabilities of flying maunts, including changing flight styles. All activities are designed for squads of four heroes, but it will be possible to go solo if accompanied by an NPC. Epic Edition owners will be the first to get acquainted with the addition, they will take part in the test and get a set of bonuses for a quick start. Then the DLC content will be studied by other users who have subscribed. Shortly after the release, on September 11, the first season of the add-on will start with a raid to Nerub'ar Castle, epic dungeons and PvP battles.
