Military shooter Squad has been updated to version 6.0

An update has been released for the multiplayer action game, which simulates the actions of squads in modern warfare. Patch 6.0 contains the rebuilding of infantry capabilities, edits in the design of transport, refined locations with weapons, as well as settings and conditions for the release of fan modifications. According to the developers, the update is designed to make life easier for newcomers and increase the contribution of teamwork to the victory of one or another group. In this shooter special attention is paid to tactics - in attack and defense soldiers must support each other, and at the same time follow the orders of commanders. In order to improve this part of gameplay, the effect of suppressive fire, which forces the enemy to retreat or change position, has been enhanced. Aiming through optics became more natural thanks to the picture-in-picture (PiP) mechanics. To make ground combat more exciting, Offworld Industries staff refreshed the balance of guns and heroes' movements, making it more difficult to overcome some obstacles. And jumping over an obstacle now works only when you hold down the "forward" key for a long time.

Vehicles, where ammunition is stored, will now be marked with a three-dimensional, not flat icon. In addition, inscriptions with character names will be visible only if there is a direct line of sight between you and your friend. Also, many maps have been changed, including "Black Coast", "Pacific Range", "Narva" and "Egorovka", where the roster of military equipment, arsenals and the ability to equip fortifications have changed. Finally, the SDK has been updated, which means that previous mods will have to be removed to improve the installer to the current form, and then roll the mods again.
