Spectre Divide is an unusual online shooter

Mountaintop studio presented a multiplayer action game, in which each user can control two heroes at once, switching between them at any moment. The development team is made up of industry veterans - previously they worked for Bungie, Respawn, Riot Games, Ubisoft and Blizzard, and now they have created their own independent team. However, when exactly they will open access to their debut project is unknown - the release date has not been announced yet.

The authors of the shooter rely on tactical competitive gameplay, in which they are assisted by the studio's consultant - the famous cyber sportsman and streamer Shroud. Matches are held in the "3 on 3" format, but since each gamer controls a couple of heroes, there are 12 fighters in total on the map. You can switch at any time and use this mechanic, for example, to create a trap. The developers also report that one team will fight from defense, while the other will attack. The sides then switch places. The main goal of the battle is to install or disarm the ZEUS device. Different gadgets and grenades of several types will be useful in the battle - you should arm yourself with them in advance, as well as customize the appearance of your heroes.

The shooter is stylized under the Japanese animated films of the 1990s. In the virtual universe there is a system of sponsors - fictional corporations that provide fighters with improvements and bonuses. The names of some of them are already known - they are Partition, Nano Sphere and Splinter Grenade. The big news is that Spectre Divide will be free-to-play from the day of release.
