Interest in the space MMORPG Space Nation is fueled by the fact that not only veterans of the game industry from the World of Warcraft and Warframe teams are working on it, but also famous movie makers. In particular, one of the participants of the project was the director of "Independence Day" and "The Day After Tomorrow" Roland Emmerich. Recently, the developers announced that the first user testing is scheduled to start on August 29.

CEO of the ambitious MMO Jerome Wu told the public that it will not just be a game, but a whole franchise, which will also include a movie and an animated series. And the genre of their work, the project leaders define as "space opera". The action unfolds in a universe reminiscent of Star Trek. In the role of an earthling you are traveling through the galaxy, populated by different races, which are in conflict over disputed planets and sources of resources. As the story develops, you can build your own starship, explore mysterious worlds and find friends for joint combat.

The authors promise epic battles in space and on locations, where gamers will control third-person view characters, as well as missions for several factions that share sectors of the virtual universe. Testing, which will begin on August 29, will last a week. During this time, users will perform a series of PvE missions, try out different ship models and put into practice the bonuses promised to all test participants. The exact date of the project's completion is still unknown. The game's Steam page indicates a release in the fourth quarter of 2023.
