Smite 2 has been announced

Titan Forge Games studio announced the soon release of the sequel to its famous MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), which gained 40 million users in its time and even competed with Dota 2. In general, Smite repeats the rules of "Dota", but its peculiarity was that all the characters here - the heroes of legends and myths of different countries and eras, from ancient Greek gods to Aztec. The new part of the game is made with more advanced graphics.

Here gamers are offered to divide into two teams of five participants and choose the characters with the abilities attributed to them by the epic. Zeus, for example, swings lightning bolts, and Medusa Gorgon paralyzes his opponents. The nuance of the second Smite is that in one match can fight owners of different platforms and controllers. Someone sits at a PC with a keyboard and mouse, someone uses a console with a gamepad, and others can fight for control of the map with SteamDeck. Achievements and collections are also saved equally efficiently across devices.

Bonuses have already been promised to those who own the original: by transferring their account, these people will receive gifts, including unique character designs. Like the first part, the second part will be available to everyone for free. System requirements are gentle: you will need a computer with Intel Core i5 processor, 6 GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 graphics card. No release date has been announced yet, but fans have already been informed that the project is being developed on Unreal Engine 5 to make more beautiful graphics and add effects.
