How many years have passed since the release of PUBG, but the fashion for "battle royale" will not subside. The new example of the genre was presented by the Korean developers from Ratatat studio. Their project is created with a focus on "vertical" gameplay and unique abilities of heroes. For a long time, the features of Skyscraper remained a mystery, but now there is a video with a demonstration of virtual battles and character movement on YouTube.

Everything is built on the classic rules of "battle royale": fighters under the control of users fight to the last survivor in a gradually narrowing arena. But there are nuances. First - verticality: the fights take place in the city center, on the floors, roofs and annexes of skyscrapers, so the characters have hooks-cats, wingsuits and other devices for stunts with elements of acrobatics. It is also known that the game will have transportation. The second difference is unique characters. In the new trailer the developers showed four of them, but in the final version of the thriller there will be more of them.

The battles are set up like a show, which is watched by the common people. Competitors, who, according to the local story, are mutants with enhanced abilities, fight for the prize - money and a pass to the "City of Dreams. For convenience, there is a choice of view - you can set the first or third person view. Although the release date of the final version of Skyscraper is still unknown, there is already a test build and even announced dates of the first broadcasts, which will start on Twitch from November 12.
