Soon the New World will smell gray

From August 30 to September 13, Amazon Games' MMORPG New World will run an event designed for high-level players. In it, heroes must defend sandworm eggs from waves of sulfur elementals in order to get rewards useful in raids like Shah Neshen. Naturally, this specific group activity will not appeal to all users, but only to those who want to defeat the most powerful bosses in the lands of Eternum.

To participate, you must first assemble a squad of at least a dozen heroes who have reached level 60, which is what it takes to defeat the legend of the sands, Shah Neshen. Then the group must rush to one of five locations: Brightwood, Ebonscale Reach, Edengrove, Mourningdale, or Brimstone Sands. Upon arriving at the location, you'll find the remains of a caravan with overturned carts that delivered sandworm eggs. Of course, the sulfur elementals fly to the coveted prey, but magical barriers prevent them from reaching their goal. Magic is able to hold off the enemies for a while, but it doesn't last forever - and a team of brave men must take up the cause.

If you manage to defend one object, you will be awarded consumables, weapons or a piece of armor of your level. For the defense of two eggs you get the same thing with obsidian plaster in addition. Three successes, in turn, provide the best prize - in the form of rare items and resources. In addition, up to three times a day active participants of the event will be given bonuses, including epic items with cells for gems, as well as shadow shards, perks and a 25% chance to get parts of personalized equipment. Rounding out the list of rewards is a five percent chance to mine one of the eggs to decorate your virtual home.
