Down Smash Studios recently unveiled Rodent Royale, a multiplayer action game where furry rodents share power over a neighborhood using their natural jumping ability, improvised weapons, and special skills. You enter the battlefield as a squirrel, either alone or as part of a team of three animals. And then begins the usual for the genre match, in which you need to defeat all the opponents on the periodically narrowing location. Along the way, you can collect armor, weapons, and supplies by searching houses, trash cans, and trunks of cars left on the side of the road. In addition, the objects of the environment are able to act as hiding places and traps. Food supplies act as medicines, and the area of action is limited, of course, by frost.

The combat system of the game is made with an emphasis on hand-to-hand fights and high mobility of animals. At the same time, you can use five special skills that help you not only to attack enemies, but also to give you a kick in a difficult moment. Each character gets three lives for the duration of the match. Squirrels can also be customized before the battle by putting funny hats and accessories on them, so that the characters don't blend into a gray mass during the fight.
