PUBG: Battlegrounds is being invaded by hordes of zombies
Krafton's popular "battle royal" PUBG: Battlegrounds has been updated with an unusual Survivors Left Behind mode. In it, a team of four gamers confronts the walking dead under the control of artificial intelligence. In such battles all means are good - from those found on the location to those made by yourself. The developers described the update in all details, so we share them with you.
What's interesting about Survivors Left Behind in PUBG?
To test your prowess in the fight against zombies, you need to go to the "Arcade" menu, and there you can choose the name of the new mode and wait for the squad to gather. Then the participants of the match vote for the stage they want to get to. It's about the missions that everyone will have to fulfill after entering the location - the more successfully your group solves the tasks, the more generous reward awaits everyone in the final stage. The mode itself involves not only battles, but also some survival methods, including running machinery (e.g. electric generators), searching for items and creating food or tools, although the heroes receive a small set of equipment.
The creatures attacking the squad are called "hungry" in the game. They are essentially the same as zombies. They have unique skills and are able to use some weapons, such as grenades or Molotov cocktails. The characters of users are also hungry - they need not only to shoot at enemies, but also to eat. If this is neglected, the fighter's stamina will drop dramatically and the aim will be lost. Fallen comrades can be returned to the battlefield, but only three times per match. Survivors Left Behind mod is already available on PC, and console owners will appreciate it on November 6.
