There is a new mode in PUBG: Battlegrounds

The famous "battle royal" PUBG: Battlegrounds has become cramped within the genre - and now it's encroaching on the laurels of Counter-Strike. Similarity with this shooter is distinguished by a new mode "Bluebomb Rush", where one team sets explosives, and the other must prevent it. Especially for such fights in the Krafton action movie added a separate map, as well as equipment items and awards. The event will last until July 25 on PC and until August 2 - on consoles.

Battles are held only on the location "Riviera", created under the CS classics, and with a first-person view. Twelve participants of the match are divided into two teams - one works from the attack, and the other from the defense, and is recruited and singles and pre-organized squads of six people. According to the rules, the attacking group places a blue zone generator on the map and defends it until detonation, while the opponents are looking for a bomb to defuse it. An important difference from Counter-Strike is that each member of the attack squad has a blue generator in his backpack, while the defenders all carry demining tools.

Battles are fought for up to 12 rounds of two and a half minutes each - whoever accumulates seven victories wins. If the outcome comes down to a draw, additional stages are scheduled. It's also worth noting that the generator can only be installed in the points marked as A and B, and after the seventh round, the teams switch roles: who attacked, goes to defense, and vice versa. The familiar picture is complemented by the purchase of weapons and equipment before the start of the fight. For successes, users receive event points, which can then be exchanged for supplies, trophies, contraband, hunter chests, graffiti and key fragments.
