It's August, people are still vacationing at resorts, and those who prefer to relax in virtual worlds get summer themed content. Hotta Studio's cartoon MMORPG Tower Of Fantasy has been improved to version 4.2, adding beach activities, a dormitory for simulacra, a heroine named Nola and another chapter of story adventures. The add-on is called "Summer Seabreeze" - let's tell you more about it.

The developers traditionally start with compensation for the inconvenience of installing the patch on the servers - players who have reached the sixth level will receive 700 dark crystals each. The action of the story takes us to the location of the Central District, where you can visit the huge shopping center of Esperia, pass the chapter "Behind the neon lights" and test your strength in the battle with the Earth Ruler. And on the outskirts of the polis there is a coastal sandy strip where the heroes gather to play volleyball in teams of two or just to sunbathe in their new bathing suits.
Among the characters, Nola, who uses a weapon called the Rumble, is now available. There's nothing stopping you from taking her to the party, which will run until September 19, but you'll need to complete the "Invasion of the Environmental Station" mission first, if you haven't already. In addition to volleyball, the beach features dance duels, Fruit Attack, Song of Water, Summer Camp Ties, Platform Battle, and Battle in the Palms activities. As rewards for success in all of these modes, gamers will receive coral coins, and they won't be hard to exchange in the store for any item you need.
As for the dormitory, it will now be inhabited by characters under your control (simulacra), and it is allowed to interact with them. So far, the mechanics are available for Nola alone, but in the future will open up options for interactivity and other characters. The developers also warn that with the release of update 4.2 they will remove gameplay in Wormhole and Joint Operation.
