Pax Dei is out, but it's in trouble

An ambitious game in the entourage of the magical Middle Ages appeared in early access in Steam and almost immediately drowned in negative reviews. If we summarize these opinions, it becomes clear that the price of the project (from 2999 rubles) does not correspond to its quality - users complain about poor optimization, lack of familiar features, axe animation of all characters and network code problems. But the developers from Mainframe studio are full of enthusiasm: they published the second part of their appeal, this time dedicated not to the genre, but to the plans for the development of their work.

The release of Pax Dei - what's going on?

According to the authors of the game, early access will last at least until 2025 - that's how long the developers plan to fix the problems. And the work on the bugs will still be based on the public's reaction. The letter begins with a story about improving the manor system, starting with the number of available management options and ending with sets of decorations along with building blocks. PvP battles are present in test mode, as they were during the alpha, and PvE battles will be tweaked, as this is one of the main parts of gameplay. There will also be an emphasis on adding content - armor, weapons, spells, appearance types and enemies.

The next stage will be to build a civilization in the virtual world, where everyone will find a role to their liking. The goal of the authors of the game is that gamers themselves created social structures, using available tools, mutual benefits and production chains - for example, from mining coal and iron ore to forging finished swords in the forge. Interestingly, extra-clan roles - such as soldier - have been announced. In general, Mainframe Industries has a lot of plans, but their realization is still lame. Whether the developers will cope with this challenge, time will tell.
