The action takes place in an open world, similar to the Europe of the XII-XIII centuries. And the fantasy element here is different from what we are used to seeing in projects of this kind. Hardarson explains this by the fact that the developers specifically studied medieval mystical literature, taking descriptions of various magical entities from there. At the same time Mainframe's designers visited castles and forests to faithfully depict similar locations in the virtual universe. Following Rainier was studio co-founder Sulka Haro, who talked about the principles of social interaction between users. If you start the adventure alone, you can build yourself a house, but a group of friends will be able to establish a whole village, where the life of the clan will be concentrated. From there, units will go to dungeons, on expeditions and hunting trips.

According to the developers, buildings shown in the video was inspired by the ancient architecture of the south of France. Also the way the characters are equipped is interesting: in the special window shows all the elements of knightly attire, just like in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Unusually looks the system of heroes' progression, which will have no levels. But some kind of development system will surely appear. The game's release will be available on PC and consoles, but the exact release date hasn't been announced yet. It's known that Pax Dei will be available on Steam.
