New Horizons in Albion Online

Блог
MMORPG Albion Online by Sandbox Interactive has received a long-awaited update called Horizons. The main focus of this update is on the interaction of heroes in the open world: there are interface improvements, and fresh log categories for fans of battles with bosses, and camps with portals. Complementing the release is a trailer full of humor, where different characters talk about the reasons for their journey to the Outlands.

What does Horizons add to Albion Online?

The main novelty is the locations, where dynamic camps with monsters are placed. They appear in random locations and allow you to quickly earn experience and trophies - if you're ready for battle, of course. Dynamic resource extraction points, geocaches, and lair maps leading to boss fights are organized in the same way. All these activities add random encounters and events to the world and speed up character progression, which will be especially useful for newcomers. However, danger is not always appropriate - S.A.F.E portals are invented for escape without damage. They help you both enter and leave the Outlands, but they only allow single players, not groups.

Now there is a reason to explore the outskirts of Albion, because the more dangerous the territory, the greater the reward for clearing it of monsters, whether it's independent sorties or raids as part of a team. It is worth paying special attention to the crystal creatures - cobra and beetle, living in the blue zones of the fifth shooting gallery and yellow zones of the sixth. Finally, the developers are proud of the HUD settings, which allow you to customize the interface to suit your needs. You can set the size, transparency and scale of different elements, assign hotkeys at your discretion or just move something from place to place for more convenience.
