Employees of the studio Gaijin Entertainment presented several updates of their online action game War Thunder. The "Freedom Fighter" event, dedicated to the Scandinavian version of the American fighter, will last until February 24. Also until March 3, the game is open "Pages of History" with rewards. This time the excursion into the past tells about the battles of World War II from Burma to the Baltic, and for completing all the tasks gamers will decorate their profiles with the portrait of General MacArthur - the same one who accepted the surrender of Japan on board the battleship "Missouri".

Within the framework of the quest set "Big Chief" it is necessary to fulfill eight thematic tasks connected with historical battles till the beginning of the next month. There is room for the siege of Manila, Operation Cerberus, and the Narva Epic, in which the Red Army confronted German troops. Missions should be played in any mode, except for "Assault". For each mission you will get trophies and prizes, and if you complete all eight, you can decorate your profile with the face of a US general who led the fighting in the Pacific.

As for the "Freedom Fighter", this name was given to the F-5A(G) jet, an export version of the American fighter, which joined the Norwegian Air Force. This is the first machine of this type from the armed forces of the Scandinavian country in the game. Until February 24, you can perform tasks in air matches and get prizes, the main of which will be this "bird". You can also earn three decals, boosters, up to 100,000 silver lions, random camouflage and a day of premium account.
