New World has been updated to version 4.0.2

Amazon Games has unveiled another update to its MMORPG New world. The patch, called Legacy of Crassus, improves the game to version 4.0.2 and adds several activities, including, of course, battles with world bosses. Some mechanics and virtual store assortment have been changed as well - the trailer is dedicated to it in the news. And we'll tell you about the rest of the details separately.

The title, referring us to Roman history, was chosen for a reason. The thing is that until January 23, 2024 the main villains of "Legacy of Crassus" are centurions Lucan and Decimus, who once served the legendary general, and then turned into stone by Medusa, revived and modified by evil charms. Both became Cyclops. It is with them that the heroes will have to fight for rewards. Among the prizes are Roman-style lats and statuettes of one-eyed monsters that will decorate your possessions. You can also get a pickaxe of the 19th Legion - it will facilitate the extraction of ore. Axes, swords, bows, obsidian plaster and dark matter complete the list of rewards.

As for the refinement of individual mechanics, the amount of stamina required to dodge heavy attacks has been corrected - instead of 50, it is now 55. Also, the damage from muskets was increased by 4.8%, but only in PvE. Balance edits were given to armor items such as kneepads and gauntlets. Resources from orichalcum generators became available to everyone, not just groups that own them. In addition, a number of bugs were fixed, including enemy behavior and rewards for defeating them.
