Summer holidays return to New World

Amazon Games' MMORPG New World will reopen the doors of the Summer Medleyfaire festival, with activities available in four villages. Gamers will take part in a competition of musicians and fishermen, perform a chain of thematic quests and earn reputation points to exchange them for valuable items. The event starts on July 19 and will run until August 16, 2023.

The villages of Brightwood, Everfall, Weaver's Fen and Monarch's Bluffs will traditionally welcome guests, and their streets and squares will be decorated with festive decorations. What's in store for the heroes who reach these villages? First of all, it will be possible to make music to get positive effects, event points or just to have fun. Whoever succeeds in all melodic activities will be awarded the title Guitar Hero. The developers have already presented sets of holiday tokens for performers of different skill levels, and in addition announced a list of 13 available songs.

Secondly, the virtual store will provide festival participants with themed sword looks and clothing items, including colorful hats with feathers. Fishing enthusiasts won't be left out either. Maudlinbug Haze performers will receive special bait for catching rare species, including Aeternum Sturgeons. These will provide you with reputation points and tokens, which in turn will give you access to home decorations, tools and armor, as well as unique emotions. Those who have reached level 20 will be able to go on a chain of nine quests, for which you will also receive festive prizes.
