The Guardian season has been announced for New World

The developers from Amazon Games are preparing their MMORPG New World for the change of seasons, and the details of the upcoming changes have already become known. Gamers will be able to get acquainted with the rune forge activities, a set of strong artifacts, the story quest "Split Mountain" and optimized PvP battles, which will finally be available for gamepad users. Although the patch is scheduled for release on March 12, you can check it out right now by visiting the game's test servers.

The highlight of the Guardian's program will be the Runic Forge trials, during which high-level heroes will solve puzzles and defeat bosses. As a reward, the winners will receive one of eight artifacts, including an axe with spoil, a spear with poison and a breastplate with the blessing of nature. The most interesting item in this collection promises to be the Phoenix Amulet, which has a recharge time of 180 seconds. Wearing it, the character, having received lethal damage, will remain alive and get two-second invulnerability. Culinary skills, in turn, will be refreshed recipes. And the combat system will have improved animations, thanks to which each fight will feel smoother.

A separate pride of the developers - planned support for controllers for those who are used to playing with a gamepad. Assistance in aiming is included. The list of activities in the first month of spring will be replenished with "Rabbit Hunt" and Blossom Festival with contests and bright decorations. The list of changes is completed by a fresh chapter of the story, already available on the test server. To evaluate it, the owner of a copy of the game must select the New World Public Test Realm client instead of the main one.
