New World: Aeternum has been released in beta

Amazon Games is changing the genre of its main MMORPG New World - now it is a role-playing adventure action movie, designed primarily for single-player play. Nevertheless, multiplayer is also presented here, starting with PvP battles for territory and ending with fights of small teams in the "Arena" mode. We tell you what we know about the game at the moment and how to join the beta-testing.

The story begins in 17th century Amsterdam, from where the hero seeks to get to America, but instead the ship rushes through a mysterious darkness to uncharted lands with fairy-tale inhabitants. The progress of all gamers in the beta is limited to level 30, but immediately available cross-platform for PC and console owners, and the first will receive the update automatically, if they already have in their library DLC Rise of the Angry Earth. What is interesting, participation in the trial will bring users a title and gifts - gloves, shoes, greaves and headgear for characters. Also included in the trial version of Aeternum are chases and other PvP-activities.

At level 20 you can test your strength in the arena in a battle between two squads of three heroes, and also ride around Aeternum on riding animals, including a bonus wolf in armor. At level 17, membership in three opposing factions becomes available to all. There's also influence point accumulation and the Amrine Excavation expedition at 25th. To take part in the test, you just need to own a copy of the game on any of the platforms. It will last until September 16 inclusive - until 19:00, to be exact. Meanwhile, the final release is scheduled for October 15.
