Players will be able to make legendary items in Albion Online
The problem with most MMORPGs is that no matter how cool one character's equipment is, another character may have the exact same one, and some items are called unique just for show. The authors of Albion Online have decided to correct this injustice in the next update. They want to add really rare weapons to the game, but will not invent the properties of these swords, axes, spears and staffs, and trust everything to ordinary gamers.
How do I get legendary weapons in Albion Online?
Before you can start producing a unique item, it must be awakened. This mechanic (along with the corresponding equipment types) will appear in an upcoming content update. Next, you complete the fourth level of enchanting, what the game calls "Primal Basics". Then, as you use weapons during PvE missions, your character will accumulate special improvement points - they will help to raise the magical characteristics of the used item. Naturally, with this approach, the cost of further modifications will only grow, but at the same time will increase the value of the thing. Finally, the legendary rating will grow - the higher it is, the brighter the glow around the blade or tip.
Since the legendary weapon "grown" in this way has unique properties, in case of defeat of the hero it will not be destroyed, but will receive the status of lost and with a high probability will appear on the black market. The name of the creator of the item will be forever imprinted in its description, so the former owner will be able to return the lost value quite legally. Well, or the item will change its owner - and will continue to receive improvement points. Developers realize that in time such items will become too powerful, so the studio Sandbox Interactive is preparing a patch with balance adjustment. It is already known that legendary equipment will be banned in some types of battles - for example, in duels in the Arena.
