A major War Thunder update is on the way

While in the game about the battles of different types of equipment on land, at sea and in the air, War Thunder, are events related to the historic landing in Normandy, the developers are preparing for the release update La Royale. Exact date of its release has not yet been announced, but it is logical to assume that it will happen after June 7, when all the current activities are completed. Some details about the patch became known in advance - let's discuss them in detail.

The first thing Gaijin Entertainment employees tell about the improvements for anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles. They corrected the physical model of flight, and at the same time added a lot of visual effects. Now behind them you can see a realistic jet stream and smoke from the nozzle, and supersonic ammunition made more "Mach rings". In addition, for some missiles, the design of which provides for this, made by switching engines, and for others - the image of a wire, if we are talking about some models of anti-tank guided missiles. Changes were also made to aviation: pilots will be able to take a new look at the firing of heat traps, appreciate the flash of afterburner flame and watch the helicopter propeller lose one blade after another from enemy fire, instead of exploding all at once.

The effects associated with ground vehicles have also changed somewhat. For example, high-explosive shells hitting the hulls of tanks now leave not just holes, but also traces of flying fragments. But that's not all: the color and size of the stain on the armor will depend on the material of which the affected part is made. A nice bonus is the steam from the boiling liquid in the radiators of cars on the verge of breakdown. The engine will last for a while, but the player should know that such a trip will not last long.
