"Impulse" changes everything at Apex Legends

The authors of the popular "battle royale" Apex Legends have presented the "Impulse" add-on, which introduces several serious changes to the game, adds a new map, mode and a whole set of items. Now you can even shoot pistols with two hands! At the same time with all these changes the next season starts. We tell you in details what impressions it will give to the fans of the action movie.

Let's start with the new map - it's called "E-District" (E-District in the original). It's a neon-glowing flying island, built up with futuristic buildings all over the area, thanks to which there will be more vertical gameplay in battles. The location is in the rotation for ranked matches - along with "Split Moon" and "Place of Storms". All heroes entering the battlefield now have new abilities. In particular, "Battle Sense" - it highlights the health level over the enemy and notifies about the lack of ammunition. Revival now works without activating any banners and devices - just by timer. But it should be taken into account that this option is available up to the fourth round, and the number of deaths ultimately affects the speed of return to the map.

Also made changes to the properties of characters of the classes "Control" and "Intelligence". The former received additional defense, and the latter - enhanced techniques and bonus skills associated with highlighting enemies in cover. The damage from pistols can now be multiplied by two, as fighters are allowed to run with a pair of "Mozambique" or P2020 in their hands. Those who like to warm up before a serious match got the mode of fighting with bots - there are both single battles against everyone, and training as part of triple squads. Of course, there are also introductory missions for newcomers who created an account after the release of Impulse. Such users have access to three legends (Rafe, Bloodhound and Lifeline) from the start, as well as a series of unique challenges with prizes.
