Fear the Evil Lights in La Luz Mala for Hunt: Showdown

Very soon, on the 18th of January this year, the add-on La Luz Mala for the multiplayer first-person shooter Hunt: Showdown will be released. In it, users will be offered a new heroine, as well as a set of weapons and tools associated with her. The developers from Crytek with traditional careful thought about the history of the character and the design of her equipment.

To begin with, let's talk briefly about the game itself. Its action is set in the southern United States in the late 19th century, only historical realities are mixed with nightmares from Lovecraft's books, and specially trained hunters roam the Mississippi Valley and kill monsters. A team of players must enter the map, fight zombies, and collect clues to figure out where the boss lurks. After defeating him, the team members receive valuable loot, which must be removed from the location while staying alive. The girl got her nickname after her homeland, Patagonia, she got carried away chasing "evil lights" (La Luz Mala) and got lost, and when she returned home, she found her relatives dead. Seeking revenge, the heroine became a ghost, haunting humans and monsters alike. On the battlefield she is aided by a Caldwell Conversion revolver with a cartridge strip, a Vetterli 71 Karabiner sniper rifle, and Premio del Tonto poison bombs.
