Halo Infinite's biggest multiplayer update is coming

The multiplayer mode of the shooter Halo Infinite will soon begin its third season, called Echoes Within. 343 Industries has already released a trailer revealing the details of the update. Among them are maps, guns, equipment additions, as well as elements of the customization of the appearance of the characters. The developers call this patch the biggest one since the game's release.

Let's start with the set of locations. Big Team Battle Oasis takes the heroes, as you can easily guess, to an oasis in the middle of a sandy desert. Cliffhanger and Chasm are two map variants for the Arena mode. First is a rocky terrain with lots of cliffs, cliffs and shelters at different heights, and the second offers to fight inside a giant structure, reminiscent of the levels of the classic 3D shooters like Quake. There will be four more maps, a detailed description of which has not yet been revealed. But we know something about Art's Room - here the battles take place among the decorations of an ordinary room, and the fighters seem to be a toy on the background of huge interior objects.

As for the rest of the content, the public is waiting for an arsenal of new items, including the Bandit rifle and force shield Shroud Screen - a bubble with an opaque shell, under cover of which you can make an unexpected maneuver. More employees 343 Industries promise to add a mode Escalation Slayer, where each elimination of the enemy gives you another gun - and so the participants of the match moves to more and more powerful guns. Season 3 of Halo Infinite will launch on March 7 this year.
